SNOW!!

After multiple times of the local weathermen threatening for snow, we finally got dumped on Friday night!!  It was a nice change to let Jefferson out at 4AM and find that several inches of snow were already piling up in our backyard.  By Saturday evening, we had around a foot, which is a rare treat in this area.  Jefferson absolutely LOVES snow and wants to play in it nonstop (he's still enjoying the remnants every chance he gets!), so that was lots of fun over the weekend! 

We have gotten lots of laughs out of the weather reports calling this "Winter Storm 2010" and other exaggerated ways of saying "it snowed" (always in the same dramatic voice, which was coincidentally used for talking about the "November Nor'easter" this fall), as well as how this entire area shuts down when there's any accumulation of snow on the ground.  Schools are actually still out - crazy!!

As you can see, we've thoroughly enjoyed the snowy weather (the dog more than anyone!)...but, I'm definitely ready for warmer temperatures and no more gray days!!
