back to normal...

for two nights. sort of. last night we got to sleep in our own room - more importantly, a bed that i didn't have to crawl into because it's surrounded by dressers :)  our floors are finished in two rooms and they look really nice!  we are definitely glad to have this non-d-i-y project well underway! last night, we re-stocked the china cabinet and moved all of our breakables back upstairs into the dining room, where they'll live for a few more days (along with our living room furniture) until the living room and guest room are re-done.  then we'll really be back to normal. and we are very excited for that day.

i changed the bedding temporarily...may be a little too on the girly side for billy (plus i LOVE our toile bedding)

jefferson likes the floors too :)  and i'm wishing we didn't have so many clothes because it's so nice only having a few pieces of furniture in here!

i'll post pictures of the final product - hopefully we'll be all done and really back to normal by tuesday!!  also exciting, we're having our basement waterproofed, so hopefully no rain in the next 24 hours, and then no more flooding EVER. unless a pipe bursts again, but that's out of our control :)  so it's been a busy home improvement week at the chorey household!
